Our goal with this initiative was to determine what is working, what isn't, where there are barriers to participation and what families would like to see more of in our community.

A total of 159 families and 17 Early Childcare Centers participated in this study, including 25 Focus Group participants reflecting the full spectrum of Falmouth's socioeconomic, racial and ethnic diversities.
Key Takeaways
While our surveys and focus groups revealed many concerns, barriers and opportunities for families and childcare providers in Falmouth, we identified three main buckets of focus: Affordability, Community Alignment and Workforce Development.
